New Service Installation
If you wish to install a new service, you will need to submit a completed new service application. Please accompany the new service application with the required $300 engineering deposit, which is applied toward the new service project costs.
If you are not already an existing member of LEC, you will also need to submit a Member Information Form. Please complete the first page of the member form, then sign and date the back. If this is to be a joint account, please have both new members fill in their information and sign the back.
Once we receive the completed application, deposit and member form, if applicable, back in the office, we will initiate a work order for your project. A staking technician will call to schedule a field appointment when their workload permits. After the field visit, the staking technician will create a cost estimate for the project along with any applicable paperwork, which will be mailed or e-mailed to the applicant. At that point in the process, LEC shelves the work order until we have received payment of the estimate, the properly executed documents and proof of a State of Montana electrical permit. Once all the appropriate paperwork and payment is returned, we can then coordinate scheduling of installation with your contractor and/or electrician.
