Members
normally experience seasonal fluctuations in electrical usage
throughout the year. This change in electrical usage may create
a budgeting problem for some members. Levelized Billing can help
you by making your payments nearly the same each month.
Levelized Billing is available to members who have 1 year of
history at the billed location. The Cooperative will
offer levelized billing to its residential, and small
commercial members only. Levelized Billing is computed monthly
by averaging the latest 12 months billing history at the
location, dividing by 12, and rounding up to the next whole $1.
That average may change slightly from month to month. The
levelized bill amount must be paid when due each month. If the
payment becomes 60 days past due, or is 30 days past due for
more than three consecutive months, the Cooperative may cancel
the member’s participation in the program.
